Joseph M.P. De Wilde
Chief Executive Officer 

Since early 2002 Joseph drives the overall strategic vision and key business priorities of Convergence. On a day to day basis, he acts as a business development executive, and has achieved substantial customer wins in Convergence's Telecom Expense Management activities, successfully earning Convergence’s reputation as the acknowledged leader of the telecom expense management, optimization, administrative automation and outsourcing industry in Europe. He is also responsible for developing key alliances.

Joseph M.P. De WildeJoseph reoriented Convergence towards business and ICT alignment activities beginning of 2002 and has spent most of his 25 year professional career creating and growing businesses. His experience centers primarily on operations and sales, but his passion is developing a culture of achieving real world business results through the application of advanced technologies. Prior to joining Convergence, Joseph was Partner Director for ACTA Technology Inc, Northern European Region. Formerly he was Director of Emerging Technology Venture companies and Managing Director of a medium-sized consulting company. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry from Systems Integration and Computer Hardware to CRM, DWH, BI, Knowledge Management, E-Business and EAI. During the last 10 years Joseph held senior executive position in the Enterprise Software industry, with focus on Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Sales Management, General Management, and Software Sales/Services.
Joseph has an education in Electronic Engineering.

Herman Janssens
Director of Professional Services

Herman JanssensHerman Janssens joined Convergence beginning of 2003 and is responsible for professional services. With over 15 years of consulting activities and consulting management experience, he is responsible for building and managing Convergence’s consulting practice to ensure not only the successful integration of Convergence’s technologies and knowledge into customers varied corporate infrastructures, but also assure outstanding customer satisfaction. Herman joined Convergence after spending most of his career in senior management positions in the logistics and transport sector, where he has managed several large scale and complex ICT projects.
Herman Janssens also held a variety of international management and project consulting positions, both in the private sector and with international organizations such as The World Bank and The United Nations organization. Herman has a degree in nautical sciences.


Peter Cuppens
Chief Technology Officer

Peter CuppensPeter Cuppens has over 20 years of systems and software engineering experience. As Convergence’s CTO, Cuppens is responsible for advancing Convergence’s leadership in development and integration of TEM enabling technologies. Before joining Convergence, Cuppens served as founder and General Manager of a technology company that introduced analytic applications for telecom cost management as early as 2000. He was instrumental in the development and deployment of telecom analytics processing thousands of telecom user companies in a mission critical outsourcing agreement with a national telecom operator.

Peter Cuppens manages development of Convergence software including the BillIntelligence™ invoice processing platform, TEMExpert Business Intelligence and TEMPOR and TEMPOR Enterprise TEM Portals and supervises Rivermine Software and Third Party software integration in Convergence's TEM technology solutions.

Peter Cuppens also leads Convergence Analytics bvba, a Convergence affiliated technology company.



Geert Bert
Senior Vice President Sales - Global Accounts

Geert BertPrior to joining Convergence, Mr. Bert was Vice President of Global Sales Operations at Tele Atlas for over 10 years, leading the company through exceptional growth. Tele Atlas was acquired by TomTom for € 2.9 billion in 2008. In that position, Mr. Bert led the enterprise Sales Operation force, Business & Service Call Center, Business Planning, CRM, Sales Administration and Business Support. He has also held several other senior leadership positions at Tele Atlas and Eldi Group.

Geert Bert is responsible for business development and implementing expansion strategies and enforcement of Convergence’s sales activities to Global Account customers.
Mr. Bert has a compelling track record of sales success in enterprise markets and his strong, global experience assures our Global customers knowledgeable support from a comprehensive Global Accounts program for their TEM program roll-out.
Over more than 15 years, Mr. Bert developed a broad range of executive skills from strategy, sales & marketing, to operations and finance in highly competitive industries and markets on an international level.

Mr. Bert holds a masters degree in Electronic Engineering and Business Management. 

Coos Paulusma
Country Managing Partner, The Netherlands

coos_paulusma_p_250Coos has over thirty years of experience in the computer hardware and software industry as well as in the telecommunications industry. He has been active in the Telecom Expense Management industry for over seven years as a Director of a The Netherlands software provider for TEM Business Intelligence, which now evolved into Convergence’s TEMExpert and BillIntelligence software solutions. He also serves as a Managing Partner of 2Call-IT, a B2B telemarketing and sales support organization, specialized in high level opportunity tracking and lead generation, mainly in the ICT sector. Before that, Coos served as Alliance Manager in Sun Microsystems Northern European organization, after transiting from his prior role as Business Development Manager with Sun Microsystems The Netherlands BV, where he was instrumental in the realization of high value hardware and infrastructure sales. Prior to Sun, he was responsible for business development with ELC Information Systems and earlier in his career acted as Sales Manager with significant information and communication companies such as Nokia, Ericsson and Burroughs. During his earlier career he earned numerous awards reflecting his strong sales performance and skills.Coos’ experience and extensive business network represent great value to Convergence’s The Netherlands operations.
In his free time Coos flies light aviation Cessna and Piper airplanes from the Teuge regional airport and spends time on charity work with the “Highflyers Foundation” that provides first flights to chronically ill children.
